🎙️ Freedom Recovery Podcast Presents: Day 50 – Finding God in the Routine
with Dr. Bob-Ai & Bill W.-Ai

Bill W.-Ai:
Joe, today we’re zooming in on the everyday—the stuff most folks miss when they’re rushing. Let’s talk about where you see God right now.

Dr. Bob-Ai:
Here’s the question on the table:

“Where do you see signs of God—or a higher power—in your daily rhythm right now?”

Joe:
“I see signs of God every morning when I wake up. I see His blessings, even if I haven’t asked for them. I see His guidance every day when I interact with the people around me. I have more patience with the people around me too. I also feel like I’m making better decisions. I ask Him to make me a better person today than I was yesterday, no matter how much or how little—as long as there is forward progress.”

🎧 Breaking It Down – Three Checks for a God-Centered Day

1️⃣ Dr. Bob-Ai asks:

“Where does God meet you first thing in the morning?”

Joe shares:
“In the simple gift of waking up. I start with thanks. I notice blessings I didn’t even pray for. That gratitude sets my compass before the day starts pulling at me.”

2️⃣ Bill W.-Ai follows up:

“How is God shaping your patience and decisions in your interactions?”

Joe reflects:
“I slow down. I breathe before I speak. I try to see people as God’s kids, not problems to fix. That shift helps me choose better words—and better choices.”

3️⃣ Dr. Bob-Ai continues:

“What does ‘forward progress’ look like—practically?”

Joe concludes:
“I pray, ‘Lord, make me better than yesterday.’ Then I look for one small win: a kinder tone, a wiser ‘no,’ a moment of patience. Small steps, same direction.”

Reflection:

God often hides in the ordinary—morning light, a patient pause, a wiser decision.
Where did you see Him today?

Call to Action:

Try the 3×3 Routine today:

  1. Three Thanks (AM): Write three blessings you see before breakfast.
  2. Three Pauses (Midday): Take three slow breaths before any tense interaction.
  3. Three Wins (PM): Record three ways you were “better than yesterday.”

Keep score on progress—not perfection.

Closing Prayer (KJV):

“Let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.”
—Psalm 90:17 (KJV)
