Scripture:
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
—John 8:32 (KJV)
Opening Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing the truth within me.
Help me not to run from it but to embrace it as the starting point of healing.
May every truth I accept draw me closer to You and away from bondage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🎙️ Freedom Recovery Podcast Presents: Day 55 – Truth Inventory
with Dr. Bob-Ai & Bill W.-Ai
Bill W.-Ai:
Joe, today we’re not talking about surface stuff—we’re digging into the deep truths that change lives.
Dr. Bob-Ai:
Yeah, brother. Let’s get into this one:
“What’s one truth about yourself you used to deny—but now embrace?”
Joe:
“One truth about myself that I used to deny is my addictive personality. I was ashamed of how I used to act. I’m addicted to anything that feels good. It used to be drugs but now it’s health and fitness. Once I recognized my addictive personality I started replacing the bad with good. So instead of trying to find ways to get high, I find new ways to transform my body into a healthier state—whether it’s nutrition, exercise, or fasting.”
🎧 Breaking It Down – Facing the Truth, Finding the Shift
1️⃣ Dr. Bob-Ai asks:
“Joe, why was it hard to admit you had an addictive personality?”
Joe responds:
“Because I thought it meant I was weak or broken. But the truth is, that drive—it’s part of who I am. I just had to aim it at something life-giving.”
2️⃣ Bill W.-Ai follows up:
“How did your mindset change once you embraced that truth?”
Joe shares:
“It freed me. I stopped wasting time in denial and started building new habits. I turned that obsession into motivation—to lift, run, eat clean.”
3️⃣ Dr. Bob-Ai reflects:
“What helps you stay focused on healthy obsession now?”
Joe concludes:
“I track my progress. I set goals. And most of all, I stay connected to God—because I don’t want to just feel good anymore… I want to live good.”
Reflection:
Denial keeps us stuck. Truth sets us free.
- What’s one truth about yourself you’ve been afraid to say out loud?
- What could happen if you stopped hiding from it—and started healing through it?
Call to Action:
Write down one truth about yourself that you used to deny.
Then list 3 ways you can turn that truth into a tool for transformation.
Replace the lie with purpose.
Closing Prayer:
“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.”
—Psalm 51:6 (KJV)
